CIMIC Liaison Module 2/2011

The MNCG has accomplished the 2nd appointment scheduled for this year related to the CIMIC Liaison Module, running the 2/2011 work session from 28 November to 1 December 2011. The course is designed to provide former NATO CIMIC Basic course’s students with knowledge, skills and tools needed to enhance their CIMIC Liaison capabilities with special reference to multinational and multidimensional contexts which characterize the environment of current NATO’s major Operations. Located in the Academic Building Facilities, the 4-days full immersion working session has been conceived as a logical follow-up to the NATO CIMIC Basic Course (NCBC) within the CIMIC functional area. The 24 participants, civilian and military personnel alike came from Denmark, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Very interesting and fruitful were not only the practical activity related to public speaking, but also the interview simulation encompassed within the didactic pillar “dealing with media” and Public Affairs module.
